1. You can create your own window cleaner using just water and the dish washing soap. When the cleaning detergent is ready, you may first scrub off all the debris and dirt from the window glass by using a scrubber. When the debris such as paint or bug spots cannot be removed by the scrubber, you may also need a window scraper. You have to remember that such scrapers can only be used safely on glass that is not tempered.
2. The next thing to oversee is to ensure that the whole window is made wet with the solution that you have prepared for cleaning. You can use a squeegee, dip it in that cleaning solution and run it from a starting point or an edge and finish the stroke by closing at the exact opposite side of the window, without breaking or pausing in the middle. You have to apply sufficient angle or pressure so that this squeegee is not allowed to chatter against the window. Should the window be larger than the squeegee, then you can make a single pass, starting at the top portion and follow it by another pass under it so that you are able to complete the bottom portion.
3. Make sure that you are using a lint towel at the bottom that will be able to dry up the water left over from around the glass edges of the windows.

Apart from following the essential cleaning tips as outlined above, when you are cleaning windows from the inside, you need to use a sponge or a microfiber cloth over the window surface, beginning at the top and working your way down. You have to remember to wipe the frame also. You may use a clean towel that is free of lint to dry the window or you may use newspaper pages to scrub it dry in a motion that is Z-shaped. Another alternative is to use paper towels that are clean. When the windows are dirty from the inside, you need to do a couple of rounds of spraying, scrubbing and drying. It is best to clean your window from the inside on a cloudy and a cool day. This is because the solution for cleaning the window or soapy water should not dry out on your windows when you are in the cleaning process.
